Stoke Park is a historic estate located in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, near Slough. It spans 300 acres of parkland, lakes, gardens, and monuments. Originally a private residence, it was transformed into one of the first country clubs in the UK in 1908. The estate features a Grade I listed mansion, a championship golf course, and luxurious leisure facilities. The landscape was designed by Lancelot “Capability” Brown in the mid-18th century and later modified by Humphry Repton. The park is known for its picturesque views, including long vistas towards Windsor Castle.
It has also been a popular filming location, appearing in James Bond films and other productions. project saw this Grade II listed, 1800s magistrates court and adjoining police station completely refurbished. To transform it into a five-star luxury hotel complete with a club, ballroom and fine dining restaurants, we carefully implemented design features that modernised the space while protecting the building’s heritage.
Andy supported Stoke Park across multiple MEP projects, including the refurbishment of the Mansion House. He also undertook early feasibility studies to inform the wider masterplan for the major redevelopment works.
