Originally designed as a hotel and completed in 1874, the building has however in recent time been home to offices, but recently, 15 Old Bailey has been brought back to life as a high-end boutique hotel.

The building presented unique challenges and opportunities for integrating contemporary MEP systems expected of a luxury hotel within its historic framework whilst preserving its Victorian charm.

The nine-floor lifestyle hotel which is operated by Ennismore under the Hyde brand has a restaurant at ground floor, speak easy bar in the basement and 115 stylish bedrooms arranged over 8 floors.

The MEP design was a meticulous process that balanced modern functionality with historical preservation, creating a comfortable and sustainable environment for guests while honouring the building’s rich heritage.
