Six Senses London is part of The Whiteley’s landmark £1+ billion redevelopment, transforming the historic former department store into a luxury mixed‑use destination featuring a 109‑room Six Senses hotel, residences, wellness amenities, dining, and retail—bringing the brand’s signature wellness‑focused, sustainable hospitality to the heart of Bayswater.
The Form Partnership were engaged to support our Client in delivering the luxury Six Senses hotel and wellness offering. Our role focused on resolving key design and construction challenges during the commissioning phase.
The basement levels of the development presented a number of complexities due to their multi-functional use, spatial constraints, and integration with the wider building services strategy. We provided practical solutions that aligned with the architectural intent and mechanical performance requirements. This included reconfiguration of services, selection of alternative equipment, and advising on compliance with fire and smoke ventilation standards.
This project highlights our ability to navigate complex building systems within high-end developments, offering both strategic insight and hands-on problem-solving to support successful project outcomes.
