Located on the corner of Mayfair’s South Audley Street and Mount Street, The Audley Public House has been carefully restored to create a traditional pub where history and contemporary art collide. On the ground floor of the five-storey building, the pub has been carefully upgraded whilst preserving the building’s 1888’s original features.
On the first floor resides the Mount St. Restaurant, complete with four private dining rooms, and set against the backdrop of extraordinary, specially commissioned, site-specific art.
Comfort heating & cooling.
One of the challenges faced at The Audley was the limited scope for renewable energy generation in the tenant fit-out. A high glazing ratio, exposed brickwork and solid masonry added to thermal mass. To help overcome the challenges faced, all building services were specified to maximise efficiency. A heat pump solution was implemented for space heating and comfort cooling was provided throughout the development to create a quiet, comfortable environment for guests and staff.
A breath of fresh air.
Innovative ventilation solutions provided space for an additional kitchen on the second floor and allowed the client to achieve the desired number of covers for their beautiful restaurant setting,
