Today, it has been beautifully revived as a high-end boutique hotel, blending timeless Victorian architecture with modern luxury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Historic Character, Modern Comfort<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The building\u2019s rich heritage presented both challenges and opportunities in integrating contemporary MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. The design team worked meticulously to preserve the building\u2019s original charm while delivering the performance and comfort expected of a luxury lifestyle hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A New Chapter with Hyde<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now operated by Ennismore under the Hyde brand, the nine-storey hotel features 115 stylish bedrooms spread across eight floors, a vibrant ground-floor restaurant, and a speakeasy bar tucked away in the basement\u2014each space thoughtfully designed to reflect the building\u2019s unique character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Engineering Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MEP strategy was a careful balance of innovation and preservation. Every system was designed to meet modern standards of sustainability, efficiency, and guest comfort, while respecting the building\u2019s historic fabric.
