{"id":374,"date":"2025-06-20T13:31:28","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T13:31:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theformpartnership.com\/?post_type=projects&#038;p=374"},"modified":"2025-10-20T09:30:41","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T09:30:41","slug":"noss-on-dart-hotel-and-apartments","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/theformpartnership.com\/?projects=noss-on-dart-hotel-and-apartments","title":{"rendered":"Noss-on-Dart Hotel and Apartments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Set on the eastern bank of the River Dart and just minutes from&nbsp; Dartmouth, the 37-acre Noss-on-Dart development rejuvenates a&nbsp; functional marina to include a 71-bed bespoke hotel with large spa&nbsp; complex, restaurants &amp; caf\u00e9, and 44 waterside apartments.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fabric<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>first.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project demanded a low carbon and all-electric strategy for both the&nbsp; hotel and apartments. Using a passive design and energy efficiency,&nbsp; aimed to maximise CO2 emission reduction, a \u2018fabric first\u2019&nbsp; approach to reduce the energy demand and CO2 emissions from the&nbsp; development. Installation of a heat pump will capture and recover energy from the cooling system to pre-heat hot water, providing further&nbsp; operational energy and carbon savings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The external fabric for each building has been designed with high performing thermal elements, reducing the thermal transmittance of the&nbsp; building envelope to reduce both heating and cooling requirements and&nbsp; result in lower energy demand.
