Ben Carey graduated with an MEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Newcastle University before joining Hoare Lea as a graduate engineer in 2021. He quickly progressed to senior engineer, gaining experience across mission critical, residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors. His work on technically complex projects honed a skillset rooted in precision engineering and innovative problem-solving.

 

In October 2025, Ben joined The Form Partnership, reconnecting with former directors Mike Walker and Andy Peggram, and his previous mechanical counterpart Harry Woolf.

 

With experience leading small electrical teams, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to specialist software groups, Ben brings a forward-thinking mindset to MEP design. His passion for engineering is reflected in his collaborative and optimistic approach, always striving to enhance both his own expertise and the success of the team around him.
